AzEPS - an Arizona opportunity to

  • Entertain new marketing ideas
  • Propose solutions based on your knowledge
  • Strike up new business partners
  • Improve your networking in the Phoenix area

Don't wait for networking groups to give you valid referrals. Learn how to have generate a high volume of consistent referrals from targeted sources. Are businesses in other fields meeting with clients in the frame of mind you're looking to reach? These businesses are your CRG's - Consistent Referral Generators. Learn how to increase your exposure to your CRGs at our meetings.

Exercise a happy and healthy business mind

Creativity and the ability to think outside the box is not a gift. It's something developed over time through practice and by abandoning fears of making a bad suggestion. Improve how you market yourself both within other phoenix networking groups and chambers of commerce and businesses looking to refer clients to people like you.

    We have just two rules!

First, please do not come to our meetings with an intention to sell to other members. Second, come with a goal to offer two or three suggestions during workshopping. Don't forget to take notes. Attend meetings when you want, no RSVP needed and there is no fee to attend. We're here to learn from others and have fun!

What to do with ideas you get?

Put the ideas together. Your energy converts opportunities into success. We're not going to do most of the work for you. Be brave and act. Remember, baseball players who get a hit just 3 times every 10 at bats are considered highly successful. Remember, a turtle only makes progress when it sticks its neck out.

A handful of our ideas are posted online in our free networking in Phoenix forum.

    Messages from our attendees

I don't know if you are going to put out any network wide emails or not, but I wanted to share this with you. I did part of it yesterday. This is a great example of true networking. Carol Segelke has a friend that is a big State Farm agent. She referred my property management company to the lady that runs this State Farm agency. She heard the lady mention needed someone. I met with the lady and also talked about my car business. She then introduced me to another lady in her office last week and that person has already sent me 3 leads for cars. This past week I referred someone to the State Farm office for a car loan. Now to top all of this off, I am going to be the main speaker at State Farms yearly team meeting in November. This goes back to old company that does sales training and public speaking. It really works.   -- Bill Bain - Auto Agent (480) 614-6319

I have a testimonial. Hope it doesn't sound too corny. If I was not for the group and the opportunity to share what I have learned, I would not be the success I am today. One idea leads to another and another. When I am given an opportunity to share ideas, I always end up learning something from someone else. Every idea is something that I can easily apply. I feel like I have my own corporate brainstorming group that has all kinds of ideas that I can pick and choose from. Every week I take a nugget that I use to improve my business. Sometimes the time goes far too quickly and I hate for the brainstorming to stop. This group is priceless!   -- Vicki - www.dinkybaby.com

I started this group because I was tired of traditional marketing groups not taking advantage of each other's knowledge base or the potential for developing cross marketing effectively. The group has undergone several structural changes but the format has stayed on-course. On-course means we've continued making improvements to the format in educating businesses to make referrals something they control, not something other networking group members control. Very thankful to many people: those who attend regularly and those who can't but were instrumental in getting us started.  -- Jamie - www.livingtrustarizona.com
