No more 20 minute showcase presentations by one business while half the group thoughts are elsewhere...
At each meeting, for every six members in attendance, three businesses will receive constructive feedback and advice on growing that business.
If you have 20 members show up, 9 businesses will leave that day with fresh marketing ideas and each of the 20 members will leave with a vested interest in 3 businesses.
Gone is the traditional networking group format!
During Week 1 and Week 2, the format for each 1 hr 15 minute meeting is as follows:
-15:00 Mingling and members sit in groups of ~6.
0:00 Ten second introductions (see left hand column)
0:07 Announcements
The following occurs in each group
0:15 - 1st business talks about how they market
0:20 Members at table offer advice on those strategies
0:30 - 2nd business talks about how they market
0:35 Members at table offer advice on those strategies
0:45 - 3rd business talks about how they market
0:50 Members at table offer advice on those strategies

While we all want to leave with a referral, we all leave with new marketing ideas...... and a sense of accomplishment in helping a friend/business.
In the 3rd week of every month, businesses of focus from Week 1 of the current month and past month report to the entire group on which new marketing strategies they have done and how they are going.
Those businesses are strongly urged to post their findings / results in the AzEPS community forum for other businesses in other chapters to learn from.
We also recommend having a ~15 minute educational presentation for the entire group.
The 4th week operates the same as the previous week but with Week 2 businesses.
The idea is to keep the meetings fresh yet simple.
The goal of this group is to not only generate referals but help build each others businesses through combined experiences.
In addition, we have marketing pieces that may be customized for your chapter promoting your chapter's home page on AzEPS. See examples below promoting our Kokopelli group.
If you are interested and would like help implementing this format, members of other chapters would be happy to come to your meetings and assist with the transition.
